    In studying educational technology, I hope to learn a deeper understanding of how digital tools and platforms can enhance teaching and learning experiences. Many educators have turned to Professional Learning Networks (PLNs) to grow as educators. Some claim PLNs to be beneficial while most don't know how they are learning from them and can affect their teaching along with students learning. I am interested in learning how innovative technologies like artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and adaptative learning systems can be merged into educational settings to support learning needs and help improve student engagement. I hope to learn the practice of approaches, strategies, and techniques that can help increase the effectiveness and efficiency of instruction. I plan to use educational technology in the future because it can increase engagement, critical thinking, and collaboration. While using educational technology, can make students engage by being entertained and enjoying the assignments they are given. 

    I have used technology in an educational setting by working with PowerPoint, Canva, Word, GroupMe, Outlook, and other tools available for me to use. I have developed interactive presentations to make subjects more engaging and accessible for my classmates. I have used platforms such as GroupMe to be able to facilitate group projects and discussions while not being able to work face-to-face. These experiences have grown my understanding of how technology can meet diverse learning needs and have inspired me to explore digital tools in educational practices. 

    One of my existing personal learning networks is Goodreads. I use Goodreads tools to be able to track my reading progress and find recommendations for books the website thinks I would like. I enjoy learning more about wellness, exercises, and recipes that I can follow along with. I use YouTube and Quizlet to help me with learning something new. Whether it be school, a new workout, or a new recipe, I can use Quizlet for schools and YouTube for learning new workouts and recipes. I regularly use Quizlet when it comes to studying for a class because it offers various tools that can help me succeed. In the past, I have used a digital platform called LinkedIn Learning. LinkedIn Learning helps enhance your professional skill-building and it's an overall platform to find jobs available around you. The key to finding the best online learning platform is to find out which one suits you the best.
